The loyalty scheme benefits are valid only for online bookings through www.louishotels.com.
The discounts accumulated can be used only by the individual member of the loyalty scheme on future bookings and are not transferable. The discounts are calculated on 4 levels. Level 1 entitles you to a 5% discount; Level 2 entitles you to a 7% discount, Level 3 entitles you to a 12% discount; Level 4 entitles you to a 15% discount
The discount is based on the total number of room nights the individual member collects from his stays at Louis Hotels
In order to benefit a 5% discount on future online bookings, at least 18 roomnights should be collected from previous online bookings
In order to benefit a 7% discount on future bookings, at least 32 roomnights should be collected from previous bookings
In order to benefit a 12% discount on future bookings, at least 45 roomnights should be collected from previous bookings
In order to benefit 15% discount on future bookings, at least 85 roomnights should be collected from previous bookings
Only room nights booked online will be taken into account for the online loyalty scheme. Any additional nights or any other extras purchased directly with the hotel either by telephone or when the loyalty member is physically at the hotel as well as any roomnights booked via a tour operator will not be taken into account.
The loyalty member can accumulate any number of nights for a maximum period of up to 5 years. Any accumulated nights exceeding 5 years will be deleted.
So for example someone is booking a 14 nights summer holiday every year at a Louis Hotel, you will be able to benefit from the following:
If in June 2012 you book 14 roomnights and in June 2013 you book another 14 roomnights at a Louis hotel you are entitled to a 5% discount on your next booking (total 28 roomnights collected – you have reached Level 1). This means that when you book your 14 roomnights in June 2014 you will benefit 5% discount.
Then if in June 2015 you book another 14 nights. You would have collected from previous bookings 42 (14x3) roomnights, you are now in level 2 so you get 7% discount for your booking in 2015.
Should you then in June 2016 book another 14 nights. You would have collected from previous bookings 56 (14x4) roomnights, you have now reached level 3 so you get 12% discount for this booking in June 2016. By now you have collected a total of 70 roomnights
However in June 2017 your 14 room nights of 2012 are 5 years old. So they are lost. You have now 56 accumulated room nights left (2013-2016) but are still in the level you have reached i.e. level 3; so if you book another 14 nights in June 2017 you will be still entitled to 12% discount on this booking. Again after your June 2017 booking you have 70 roomnights (56 + 14) collected in June 2017.
However in June 2018: your 14 room nights of 2013 are 5 years old. So they are lost. You have again dropped to 56 room nights (2014-2017) but are still in the level you have reached i.e. level 3; so if you book another 10 nights in 2018 you will be entitled to 12% discount on this booking.
The above is just an example there is nothing stopping a loyalty member from collecting for example 18 nights in 2012 and using these to get a 5% discount on a future booking in 2012 etc.
For all new members who register between 01/02/12-31/12/12 and who have booked at least a 7 night stay online at a Louis Hotel during the last 3 years (2009-2011), Louis Hotels will offer them 5 roomnights introductory complimentary bonus at the time of their registration.
Any additional nights booked directly with the hotel will not have the benefit of the online loyalty scheme
Membership is offered only for individual consumers and not travel agents or any bookings made via a travel agent
Any increase or decrease in relation to the number of nights booked will be adjusted accordingly on the members loyalty account.
Any nights accumulated by the member on a future reservation not yet taken and subsequently cancelled by the member will be lost and deleted from his loyalty account.
All loyalty members are entitled to a 5% additional discount on top of special offers running online. Example: if a special offer of 10% is running online loyalty members who have reached Level 1 – level 4 will be entitled to a 15% discount irrelevant of the discount level they have reached. In case where the discount level of a member is higher than the special offer plus 5%, the loyalty discount applies
All hotel bookings are subject to availability and subject to the hotels booking terms and conditions.
If insufficient nights are available, or where Louis Hotel loyalty scheme suspect fraud or misconduct on the part of the loyalty member, the discount earned by the loyalty member may be refused or cancelled.
Louis Hotel loyal scheme will correct a loyalty member's account if it is shown to Louis Hotels loyalty scheme's reasonable satisfaction to be wrong but, unless there are clear records showing this, Louis Hotels loyalty scheme's decision will be final.
The number of nights can only be earned, held and used against future hotel bookings as set out in these terms and conditions. Any sale, exchange or transfer of nights, is a serious breach of these terms. Any number of nights not earned and held in accordance with these terms and conditions will be invalid and cannot be used against any future booking discounts. Any such nights earned on the loyalty members account will be deducted, and if any discount has been applied Louis Hotel will ask for full payment from the loyalty member.
The room nights collected have no cash value.
Louis Hotel loyalty scheme reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions and will give all loyalty members as much notice as they reasonably can. Collecting room nights or obtaining discounts by the loyalty member will constitute acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
Louis Hotel loyalty scheme reserves its right to suspend or terminate the loyalty scheme; however, prior to doing so it will give as much notice as reasonably possible to all its members before doing so. Should this happen all loyalty members accounts will be suspended or terminated.
Louis Hotel loyalty scheme is subject to Cyprus law. Louis Hotel Loyalty scheme will only be liable to a loyalty member who suffers loss as a result of their breach of these terms and conditions and their only liability will be to credit to the loyalty members account any number of nights which have been wrongly deducted or should have been credited but were not. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
